Some of our fans may remember him more as a lover than a fighter, but when Big Daddy V made his debut in ECW, he made an immediate impact on the Land of the Extreme, especially Boogeyman.
Matt Striker, who had been the victim of forcibly-fed worm cuisines from the man from The Bottomless Pit, apparently enlisted the near-500 pound man-mountain from Harlem, N.Y., to take care of his nemesis. Boogeyman likes to prey on the fears of his opponents, but ran into a brick wall in Big Daddy V, who doesn’t seem to fear boogeymen, the dark or worms. In fact, he seems to strike fears in all his opponents with his sheer girth, power, and killer instinct – which is why he is perfect for ECW.
Big Daddy V is no stranger to our longtime fans. He has terrorized WWE rings for years; he is a former King of the Ring, World Tag Team Champion and Hardcore Champion and has a history of being an assailant for hire.
